Free Directory Listing is a No-Follow the link?
I found a directory with a non-free follow the link. Is not it go against purpose to put my link in the directory for SEO?
For SEO, one step following the link can defeat their needs because they want the search engines validate or improve your site ranking with link arrival of this directory on your site. All engines do not listen to the link however. You can code, but its more like an option search engine. That said, Google (which really matters) can not follow the link and give credit to the SNR of link popularity. But if you've taken the time to find a site that does not go far enough and even write to that question, you can add, if free and easy. It's just another way to get found on the web. It may not worth the link juice, but can still bring someone to your site. Go ahead and add that if this is a reference guide. If not, you should not have even been seen in the first place. LOL! Use keywords around your URL can also help you validate your URL. This is a long and short is not worth nearly as much as a million other things we do to our sites for SEO.
