Graphics Card Coolers

Graphics Card Coolers
wondering about the heat produced by a graphics card if it’s watercooled?

I’m going to be watercooling 3 GTX 280′s in SLI. these cards are only single-slot coolers, since they’re watercooled. but I’m wondering if I would be able to put another high-performance card, like the Killer M1 Networking card between my graphics cards without it overheating. do the graphics cards still give off excess heat, and will that affect components places in between them?

also, how will the bandwidth of my motherboard be affected? if I’m using 3 GTX 280′s in SLI will I have enough bandwidth left for a sound card and the Killer M1 I mentioned earlier?

First off I say you have more money then sense with that much hardware and wanting to buy an over priced NIC. OK with that said yes your MB will have enough bandwidth for it and it will run hotter but no more than if it was in with a single slot GPU that vents in the case like the 8800 GT. X-fi’s and Killer NICs both run warm but they will be fine.
