Having trouble with a graphics card?

i have a pny verto gt8600 geforce graphics card, recently it has stopped sending a signal to the monitor. The build in fan stills works so i dont think the graphics card is gone bad. If anyone had this trouble before can you please inform me as to what to do?
I have a build in graphics card, geforce 6500l , it lets me use the computer , so i dont know if that outrules the motherboard.

It looks as though you have proved that it is faulty. All you can try is unplugging and replugging in case of a bad connection.
