How do I design an advanced blog template or layout?
I am seeking to create my own highly customized blog. I sketched what I wanted it to look like on Paint and now I don’t know where to begin. How do I make the web template I sketched on paint real?
I did a little research and I see that WordPress.com gives full customization control to premium users. But what programs can I use to create the html for the templates I design?
Stay away from programs especially if you are going to create templates with wordpress. You should look at wordpress website for certain functions they have pre-coded. You WILL NOT find these functions within ANY program.
If you want to be very successful coding your template, stick to simple HTML and PHP code from scratch, using google to search for what you want to do.
For example, if you want to make an image into a link, type in google: “html how to make an image a link”
If you want to show a calendar on your wordpress template, search “WordPress Calendar”
And If you want to make a template for WordPress, search “How to make a template for wordpress”
